Much of Sandra’s inspiration flows through an evolving process. As she hammer and manipulates the metal, She is inspired by the emerging shape that unfolds. Her technique is purposefully loose, allowing for each step in the process to dictate the next. She considers each piece to be a unique and wearable sculpture, with a story and a voice of its own.

    Sandra offers weekly studio classes as well as intensive workshops →

  • COLORFORMED EARRINGS WORKSHOP

    The workshop provides the opportunity to explore fold-forming techniques while creating beautiful dramatic earrings. The earrings will have a permanent colored pencil patina where the metal shines through. Students will be working with a vice and a bench block(or anvil, if they have one), and a cross peen hammer. We will learn to fold-form a matching set of earrings, solder our own ear posts from silver wire , and then finish with color. Once you master the techniques you will be able to turn out endless variations of earrings to incorporate into your collection.
